CE Course Description

This course provides an overview of the biopsychosocial issues facing the aged. It includes the exploration of different long-term care options with the aged and their loved ones. Many of the common issues pertaining to aging and loss are addressed. The course also reminds clinicians to be aware of the aged population’s strengths, potential and opportunities for a life that maintains vitality. Issues regarding physical violence, neglect, fraud and other types of abuses are addressed.

This course is an online, non-interactive, reading based, self-paced, and asynchronous course.
